Sharing a 113-acre campus with Lipscomb University provides tremendous opportunities, resources, and facilities for our students. Academy students have access to comprehensive libraries and science labs and regularly hear from national and international speakers, scholars and professionals in both classroom and event settings.

Through individual academic advising and college counseling, our team works closely with students to help them create and reach their long-term academic goals, including plans for higher education. 100% of students go on to higher education. Lipscomb Academy offers 15 honors courses, 17 AP courses and 45 Dual Enrollment courses. Preparation for university entrance exams (SAT and ACT) is offered on campus.

English support is available to our Global Students if needed. Tutoring in every subject area is available through Lipscomb Academy’s Academic Support Program.

Why study here?

Universities seek prospective students that show aptitude outside of academics; therefore, students are encouraged to explore a variety of activities and experiences. Lipscomb Academy offers many clubs and opportunities for students to pursue their interests and talents beyond the classroom.

A broad education in the arts provides students with a better understanding of their world. At Lipscomb Academy, students have the opportunity to participate in band, chorus, dance, forensics, strings, theatre and visual arts.

Participating in athletics does more than build strong athletes: it teaches the values of hard work, teamwork, perseverance, responsibility and endurance. The athletic program includes football, soccer, cross country, golf, cheer, bowling, volleyball, basketball, hockey, swimming, baseball, softball, tennis and track. Our student-athletes have access to state-of-the-art training facilities and weight rooms, as well as NCAA Division I athletic facilities.

Testimonials

“Eight thousand twenty-four miles away I found my new home at Lipscomb Academy.” -- Prince Kazi W., 2019, Sylhet, Bangladesh

“Lipscomb Academy is not only an enjoyable environment and a comprehensive community but also a family filled with love and respect. Going through the difficult transition from one culture to another, the teachers and students at the academy welcomed me with warm hugs and offered me so much help. Despite my family far from home, they embrace me into the school and make me feel like I have an even bigger family here at Lipscomb.” -- Yan L., 2020, Guangzhou, China

I have been at Lipscomb for 4 years throughout high school. Gradually, I feel like Lipscomb is not merely a school that I go to. It's a family where we love and help each other. — Thach D., 2019, Gò Công, Vietnam

LA is a place you can call home, and LA students and Staffs is a community you can call family. For an American college, LA is moderate in size, but contain enormous knowledge and culture for a Vietnamese student. LA welcomed you to learn Christianity, and you have the option to accept the lessons and apply to life. The fact that Lipscomb is a private Christian school is that you can’t find these experiences in any other public school, and it’s encouraged you to be open minded. -- Dung D., 2018, Danang City, Vietnam
