Student Life

Our students build a strong foundation through challenging coursework, ongoing academic support, and countless chances to learn outside the classroom. Several learning communities provide our freshmen distinctive opportunities to connect with classmates, develop valuable skills, become involved in campus life, and ultimately enjoy success as a UT student. Divided into fields, these communities include public policy, business, honors, engineering, leadership, music, art and architecture, and agriculture.

One thing I like about UT is that it is in Knoxville, TN which has a relatively low cost of living and is very affordable for students. Knoxville is also situated at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park which has lot of opportunities for relaxing out in nature. UT also has world class athletic, recreational and academic tutoring facilities for the overall development of the student. But the best thing about UT is its football and basketball seasons. What I like the most about being a student at UT is the education program. The program that I am in prepares me for the next step in my intended career path.
